The Very Hungry Caterpillar Onesie {Delightfully Creative}

I love giving books as gifts to new moms or moms-to-be, so why not make a onesie to go with a book?! (Which, by the way, is my other favorite thing to make and give.) 

I also made a Very Hungry Caterpillar onesie for my friend to go with the book by Eric Carle (one of my most favorite children's books!).

This was a super simple project, especially because I had all the materials on hand. The most difficult part was positioning the buttons and sewing them exactly where I wanted them.

I wish I got photos with better lighting, but I made the gifts the night before the shower and the next day was so cloudy and dark, I could not get good natural lighting. :-( But, you get the gist!
