School Library Journal's NEW Top 100 Children's Novels List (Delightfully Bookwormish}

I know, I've been posting A LOT of book posts lately, but exciting things are happening!

A Fuse #8 Production, a blog of The School Library Journal, just finished revealing a list of the Top 100 Children's Novels, chosen by teachers, authors, and librarians.

I was reading through the old Top 100 list, but Elizabeth Bird (author of the blog and the New York Public Library's Youth Materials Collections Specialist) decided to re-do the list with new criteria. So, now I am re-starting with the new list.

That's OK. Most of the books I read remained on the list.  Also, some new and fabulous books made the list this year. I am also glad to see that one of my absolute favorites, The Thief, shot up the list from #83 to #12!

Anyway, here's the NEW list. Visit A Fuse # 8 for details on each book.
