Road Trip From West to East {Delightful Adventures}

About a month ago, I posted about my crazy road trip from NC to CO. On the return trip, we went a different route and stopped a few fun places on the way. It wasn't as crazy as Ron and his house of trash, but still fun!

Cheyenne, WY

 A poor stuffed Emperor Penguin. It was shipped to America in the 1930s from the South Pole and didn't survive the trip. :-( So, I guess they decided to stuff it instead of put it in a zoo.

Nebraska-My State of Birth

 It only seemed appropriate to take a picture in the middle of a corn field.

North Platte, NE
 Trading Post

 I got in a fight with a bear. He was really intimidated.

A poor stuffed two-headed calf. Apparently, it didn't live for long because it had two heads.

Avoca, IA

 Giant spider made from a car. Who thinks of these things?

Indianapolis, IN

We stopped to eat at the Mug n' Bun, which was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. It was yummy.

Delightfully Making the Most of the Road,
